My week-long Kentucky trip is almost half over now XD
We ended up going to the state fair on Friday, because it was the first day of the fair and there was a special deal on rides for kids. There’s a lot of kids among us, so that was… I guess a lot of money saved? I’ve been to Iowa state fairs, which were a bit different from this one. Most of the exhibits were actually indoors, in the convention center/arena, with a separate outdoors Midway for the carnival rides. It was a lot of fun just wandering around, looking at all the vegetables and animals. There were some fantastic pumpkins that weighed nearly 1000 lbs!!! Four of them, in fact O_O Who knew pumpkins could get so big… >_>;; I think my favorite was the rabbits though… so many kinds, and all so cute!! <3 We saw a really bizarre pigeon… It was soooo pigeon-chested that when it stood up, I don’t think it could even see over its own chest… >_>;; I felt kind of bad for it T_T Also… they had some really cute cows <3
Today was spent… mostly sitting around and trying to not go crazy from the 9 kids running around. We’re having a big picnic tomorrow, so hopefully they’ll use up all their energy running around on the playground in the park and be a bit less rambunctious back at the hotel ^_^;; I just hope it doesn’t take ages to get them in position for all the photographs that we’re trying to take XD Oh, and wish me luck in not looking too stupid in the one photograph I have to be in XD
